Mangaluru 02: Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti were celebrated today under the joint auspices of Shakthi Residential School, Shakthi Pre-University College and Shakthi Pre-Primary School, Shakthi Nagar by placing flowers on their portraits. On this occasion, a team of faculty from Shakthi Institute conducted a bhajan and all faith Prayer.
The program was chaired by the administrator of the organization Dr. KC Naik who spoke and wished the students good luck. Sharanappa teacher in Kannada read the importance of Gandhi Jayanti. An interfaith prayer was performed by the teachers on this occasion.
On the same occasion, Sharada Puja was performed in front of Saraswati statue on Sunday, the 7th day of Dasara festival.
The Administrator Dr. K.C Naik, Managing Governing Body Member Mrs. Saguna C. Naik, Chief Advisor Ramesh K., Institute Development Officer Prakyath Rai, Principal of Shakthi Pre-University College Prithviraj, Principal of Shakthi Residential School Vidya Kamath G., teaching and non-teaching staff and students were present. Kannada teacher Sharanappa was the Co-ordinator.

ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಅ. 2 : ಶಕ್ತಿನಗರದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಶಿಯಲ್ ಶಾಲೆ, ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮತ್ತು ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಜಂಟಿ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಮಹಾತ್ಮಗಾಂಧಿ ಜಯಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಲಾಲ್ ಬಹದ್ದೂರ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರ ತಂಡವು ಭಜನೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ. ಕೆ.ಸಿ ನಾೖಕ್‌ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು. ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಶರಣಪ್ಪ ರವರು ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಜಯಂತಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಾಚಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಂದ ಸರ್ವಧರ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ದಸರಾ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ೭ನೇ ದಿನವಾದ ಭಾನುವಾರದಂದು ಶಾರದಾ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ. ಕೆ.ಸಿ ನಾೖಕ್‌, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸದಸ್ಯೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸಗುಣ ಸಿ. ನಾಕ್, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರ ರಮೇಶ ಕೆ., ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ್ ರೈ, ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಪೃಥ್ವಿರಾಜ್, ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕಾಮತ್ ಜಿ., ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕೇತರ ವೃಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರವನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಶರಣಪ್ಪ ರವರು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.
