‘Sanskrit is a rich language with rich literature. This is the root language for all languages in India. The verse form of literature in Sanskrit is very easy to by heart and it helps to remember the text through art over life’- said Prof. Janardana Thamankar, Sanskrit Professor in Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College, Mangaluru. He was addressing the gathering as the Chief Guest on Sanskrit Day on 22nd August 2019.
Saloni and Mehfuz, the students shared their views about the richness of the Sanskrit Language. Smt. Vidya Kamath G, the Principal of the school delivered the key note address and said that Sanskrit is one of the three basic languages in the world. Mr.Shreenidhi Abhyankar,the Sanskrit Teacher said that the language is the treasure house of the Knowledge.

ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತವು ಒಂದು ಪಕ್ವಯುತ ಭಾಷೆ – ಪ್ರೊ. ಜನಾರ್ದನ ತಾಮ್ಹಾನ್‌ಕರ್
ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತವು ಸಹಜವಾಗಿ ಪಕ್ವಯುತ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೂಲಾಧಾರವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಇರುವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಪದ್ಯರೂಪದ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವು ಕಂಠಪಾಠಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾನಾರ್ಜನೆಗೆ ಇದು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಹಕಾರಿ ಆಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಆಯುರ್ವೇದ ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್‌ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರೊ. ಜನಾರ್ದನ ತಾಮ್ಹನ್‌ಕರ್‌ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ದಿನಾಂಕ 22-08-2019 ರಂದು ಶಕ್ತಿನಗರದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಅವರು ಶಾಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಸಲೋನಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೆಹಫೂಸ್‌ ಅವರು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಅನಿಸಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಶಾಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಜಿ ಕಾಮತ್‌ ಅವರು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತವು ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಶ್ರೀನಿಧಿ ಎ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗಾಧ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಡಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಶ್ರೀ ಗೋಪಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮೊಕ್ತೇಸರ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ.ಸಿ. ನಾೖಕ್‌ ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎಜ್ಯುಕೇಶನ್‌ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಬೈಕಾಡಿ ಜನಾರ್ದನ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ನಸೀಂ ಬಾನು, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರ ರಮೇಶ್ ಕೆ. ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪಿ.ಯು. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಜಿ.ಎಸ್. ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
