Shakthi Residential School and Shakthi P.U.College in collaborating with Mangaluru University held ‘Plogging Programme’ (Jogging and picking litters) on 26.01.2020.
Started from Padavinangady this event was inaugurated by Sri D. Vasudev Kamath President, Shree Venkatramana Temple, Konchady who said about ‘Swatch Bharath’ focusing on Swatch Bharath, this mission of FIT INDIA will be a success in and around the Mangaluru city. Dr. Shripathi Kalluraya P., Finance officer, Mangalore University also attended the programme as a chief guest and spoke to the gathering of 500 about the importance of the programme.
Kudremukh Iron Company managing Director, Sri M.V Subba Rao, said everyone of us should involve ourselves in cleaning our surrounding.
Dr. Bharath Kumar M. General Physician, Padavinangady Sri Rama Mugrody. The President Sarvajanika Ganeshothsava Samithi, Padavinangady, Mr. Prakash, Director of Sridevi Engineering College, Sri Mohan Das Shetty, President of Padavinangady Lions club were all the chief guests of Plogging Programme and also thanked Shakthi Education Trust for organising such a event. Smt. Sangeetha Naik, Corporator, Pachanady, Sri Jayananda Anchan, Corporator, Kadri Padavu were also gathered. Sri K.C. Naik the managing trustee, Shree Gopalakrishna Temple was the president of Plogging programme.
The programme started with welcome address by Sri Baikady Janardana Achar, Administrator and Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Bhavyashree. Mr. Sreenivas B.M compered the programme. Mrs. Vidya Kamath G, Principal Shakthi Residential School, instructed the gathering about the measures to be followed. Mr. Ramesh K, Chief Advisor, Mr. Prakyath Rai Institute Development officer were supporting hand of the event.
Dr. Sripathi Kalluraya P. initiated the Plogging Programme, jogging and picking and litters. Students and staffs of Shakthi Residential School and College along with the members of various organisation, jogged and picked the litters from Padavinangadi to Kavoor. K.E.B.Colony, K.H.B colony, KIOCL Colony and the surrounding areas where been covered in the Plogging Programme.
ಶಕ್ತಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ಲಾಗಿಂಗ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ
ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಶಕ್ತಿನಗರದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪಿ.ಯು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ 26 ರಂದು ಲಘು-ನಡಿಗೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಂಡ ಕಸವನ್ನು ಹೆಕ್ಕುತ್ತಾ ಸಾಗುವ ’ಪ್ಲಾಗಿಂಗ್’ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಪದವಿನಂಗಡಿ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಚಾಡಿ ಶ್ರೀ ವೆಂಕಟ್ರಮಣ ದೇವಾಸ್ಥಾನದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಡಿ. ವಾಸುದೇವ ಕಾಮತ್ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ’ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಭಾರತ್’ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯ ಫಿಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಆಂದೋಲನದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು. ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವಿತ್ತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ. ಶ್ರೀಪತಿ ಕಲ್ಲೂರಾಯ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಸುಮಾರು ಐನೂರರಷ್ಟು ಜನರನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಫಿಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಶಕ್ತರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಶಕ್ತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಕುದುರೆಮುಖ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ ಅದುರು ಕಂಪೆನಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಡಳಿತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಂ.ವಿ ಸುಬ್ಬರಾವ್ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಭಾರತ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಾರಗೊಳಿಸಲು ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರಜೆಯೂ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನು ಸಶಕ್ತನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಸರದ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೂ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಪದವಿನಂಗಡಿಯ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ವೈದ್ಯ ಡಾ. ಭರತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎಂ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಗಣೇಶೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮ ಮುಗ್ರೋಡಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಿ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್, ಪದವಿನಂಗಡಿ ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ಬಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೋಹನ್‌ದಾಸ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿರುವ ಪಚ್ಚನಾಡಿಯ ಸಂಗೀತಾ ನಾಯಕ್, ಕದ್ರಿ ಪದವಿನ ಜಯಾನಂದ ಅಂಚನ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಶಕ್ತಿನಗರದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗೋಪಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮೊಕ್ತೇಸರ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ. ಸಿ. ನಾೖಕ್‌ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎಜ್ಯುಕೇಶನ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಬೈಕಾಡಿ ಜನಾರ್ದನ ಆಚಾರ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಬಯಸಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಭವ್ಯಶ್ರೀ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಬಿ.ಎಂ. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕಾಮತ್ ಜಿ. ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞಾ ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎಜ್ಯುಕೇಶನ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರ ರಮೇಶ್ ಕೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ್ ರೈ, ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪಿ.ಯು. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಜಿ.ಎಸ್. ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಶ್ರೀಪತಿ ಕಲ್ಲೂರಾಯ ಹಸಿರು ನಿಶಾನೆ ತೋರಿಸಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಪರಿಸರದ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸದಸ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾವೂರಿನ ತನಕ ಲಘು ನಡಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಸ ಹೆಕ್ಕುತ್ತಾ ಸಾಗಿ, ಕೆಐಒಸಿಎಲ್ ಕಾಲನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕೆ.ಇ.ಬಿ ಕಾಲನಿ, ಕೆಎಚ್‌ಬಿ ಕಾಲನಿ, ಕೆಐಒಸಿಎಲ್ ಕಾಲನಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಿಸರದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕಸ ಹೆಕ್ಕಿ ಚೊಕ್ಕಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
