World Environment Day was celebrated on June 5 at Shakthi Residental School and PU college.
Well known environmentalist Dinesh Holla was chief guest. He said, “Man’s selfishness and greed has prompted him to destroy nature to fulfil his own desires. Destruction of nature means destruction of mankind and all living beings in the world”.
Prabhakara G S, the principal presided over the function. Baikady Janardana Achar introduced the chief guest and welcomed the gathering.
